Eskilstuna, Sweden. 2008.5.22 - Swedish composer Thomas Rydell Music has just returned from mixing a Chinese feature film soundtrack in Detroit.
 

 
Thomas Rydell was commissioned as Composer and Sound Editor by Swedish Film Director Oscar Petersson. Thomas is currently editing the music, which will be released in late 2008. The soundtrack will be available on Cdbaby.
 
The film "No matter what" is the story of an musician with ambitions of stardom, who moves from rural China to the urban jungle of Shanghai. The music features the very talented Xiao Dong Wei, who plays several traditional Chinese instruments.
 
Thomas Rydell has a classical music background and for many years has composed, arranged, produced and recorded contemporary music for orchestra, film, television and the Internet. He has a great interest in collaborating with musicains from around the globe, and is eligible for grants from the Swedish government for recording of orchestral music in Swedish studios for foreign feature films.
 
This is the latest in a series of drama film soundtracks which Thomas has composed.
