Palo Alto, CA, USA. 2008.12.10 - Plug. People. Planet. Prosperity. = a Better Place.

A world living free from oil.
A planet healing and thriving.
An environment and economy brought back into balance.

This is the vision of Better Place, which today published "An Economic and Environmental Blueprint for the Future of Energy and Transportation". (PDF)

To achieve this, Better Place is striving to create a carbon-free economy, by building the infrastructure to lessen global dependency on oil. In partnership with Japanese carmakers and concerned corporations and investors, Better Place proposes an urban grid of recharging stations for electric cars.

Since Better Place’s inception in October 2007, Israel, Denmark, Australia, California and Hawaii have committed to deploying the world’s first electric car networks.

Digital Tsunami supports measures which contribute to a reduction of the human consumption of finite resources. We partner with global carbon management company Carbon Planet, and amongst our clients, is the heavy engineering firm Keppel Prince, which is fabricating, transporting and erecting wind towers in Australia and contributing to research on wave energy.
