Canberra, Australia. 2009.8.11 - The Australian Trade Commission (Austrade), is inviting Australian firms to contribute to 'clean tech' in China, via
the Wanwu Initiative.
China is currently experiencing the largest urban migration in history. Approximately 15 million people move to the cities, annually. This urban expansion is driving large scale clean tech infrastructure growth, including water and waste treatment.
The Wanwu Initiative has been developed by
Austrade to provide a co-ordinated marketing platform to introduce capable Australian firms into Chinese eco-projects and funding opportunities.
Australian companies with products and services which have a direct application to clean energy, environment, water or greenbuilding are invited to
submit information online.
Austrade selects companies to participate in the Wanwu Initiative on the basis of their capability to deliver products and services to the Chinese market.
