Sydney, Australia. 2009.10.6 - A simply elegant site was launched today for writer, editor and translator Stephanie Oley. With images and samples of her corporate and editorial work, the site is a showcase for this experienced freelancer.
 

 
Stephanie has experience across a range of media roles and formats since 1995, in Australia and Japan. She's edited corporate and consumer publications, written freelance for magazines, and penned promotional copy for print, radio and digital media.
 
The website presents a minimalist visual style which focuses on key messages and selected text samples. Sections on Copywriting, Feature writing, Editing and Japanese translation are accompanied by magazine covers, feature article images and brochure pages. Miniature images are clickable to display enlargements.
 
The text in a soft grey font and headings in a contrasting orange, appear on a pristine white background. This segmentation by colour and position ensures focus on content, and presents a clean minimalism with a complete absence of borders or coloured panels.

Amongst Stephanie's credits is the narration script for a film produced by Digital Tsunami. The film, for a US-owned cosmetic brush factory, was launched at the HBA 2009 Global Exposition & Conference in New York.
