Digital Tsunami has significant expertise in film and video production, as the company founder has been a film professional since 1979. Andrew W Morse has produced television commercials and corporate films in Australia since 1983 and in China since 1991. Digital Tsunami was founded primarily as the Internet was an acknowledged mechanism for disseminating corporate video. Since then, Morse has constantly proselytised about the impact of streaming video. The fact that in August '09, 10 billion videos were viewed in the USA alone, indicates the immense impact of video as an entertaining information dissemination resource. A result of this activity is that YouTube is now ranked as the world's second most popular search engine.

Digital Tsunami has integrated video into websites since the company's inception in 1996! Videos are compressed (while audio signal is uncompressed to guarantee highest quality), and encoded with the H264 codec, ensuring maximum quality with optimum filesize. It is this compression which enables large dimension videos to stream immediately on a broadband Internet connection.

Last year, streaming videos were inserted for many Digital Tsunami clients, including the business organisations Australia China Business Council (ACBC) and Australia Japan Business Association (AJBA), global cinematographer L'Image, Arabian Gulf recruitment site http://careers.leightonint.com, heavy engineering firm Keppel Prince, and global pharmaceutical brand Solvay.

Digital Tsunami's capabilities encompass all aspects of marketing communications solutions including: eStrategy, film, identity, interactive, photography and print, for global brands, MNCs and innovative SMEs through offices in Australia and China.
